My First Diamond Dragon Breed

I got my first Diamond Dragon breed today (18 Feb 2013) at around lunch time. A screen grab of my 2-days magic making wait, or 44 gold bars to speed up the process, is shown below today.

If you visit my a1pro Dragon Story island now, there is no Diamond dragon egg yet. However over the next few 44-hour periods, you will see the Diamond egg and a little later, a Diamond dragon.

How did I get my first Diamond Dragon breed? What dragons did I use to get my first Diamond Dragon breed? How many tries did I take to get my first Diamond Dragon breed? How many un-successful tries were there before I got my first Diamond dragon?

I used Justice dragon and Fuzzy dragon to breed my first Diamond Dragon breed. This is a confirmed method to breed Diamond dragon.

Justice dragon used to get my first Diamond Dragon breed was at Level 9. Fuzzy dragon was at Level 9 as well.

Left postion = Justice dragon

Right position = Fuzzy dragon

Number of tries = 3 (using this Justice/Fuzzy combination)

What is an Ultra Rare dragon?
According to game rules of Dragon Story, a Diamond Dragon is considered an Ultra Rare dragon. This means that the chance or probability to breed a diamond dragon successfully is extremely low.

How to breed diamond dragon?
Use dragon hybrids containing 4 different colour elements.

What is the probability or chance of breeding a diamond dragon?
Unknown.

Is there a reliable dragon breeding pair to use to breed diamond dragon?
There are many diamond dragon breeding pairs that can be used. (go to the links at the end of this post)

What is the best dragon pair combination to breed diamond dragon?
There are many dragon breeding pairs recommended but no one can guarantee the perfect outcome.

Do I need Epic level (level 10) dragons to breed diamond dragon?
No. Minimum dragon level is 4.

Must I use Super Rare / Rare dragons to breed diamond dragon?
No.

Would my chance of getting a diamond dragon egg be higher if I use Super Rare / Rare dragons to breed rather than using common dragons?
No. (Although some players I know insist that it matters.)

Does it matter if one parent sits on the Left or Right of the breeding den?
No. (but some players insist it matters)

Can I buy / purchase a Diamond Dragon?
Yes. Get it from the Market.

How much does it cost to buy a Diamond Dragon?
2000 gold bars.

What is the secret to breed Diamond dragon on the first try?
None. It is purely a matter of luck.

Are there Buildings in Dragon Story to improve the odds of breeding diamond dragno?
No.

Are there specific locations on the island for the breeding den to improve diamond dragon breeding?
No.

If the chance to breed diamond dragon is 10% (10% quote is used as an illustration only), does it mean I will be able to breed a diamond dragon by the 10th attempt?
No. Each time you press 'Breed' on the breeding den, you have a 10% chance of getting a diamond dragon. Even after 1000 breeding tries, the chance remains the same. That is why some high level players who tried many times may still not breed a diamond dragon while some beginner players get it on the first try.
